Chroma keying is a visual effects process that involves creating a composite of two images by removing a specific color from one image-typically green-thereby revealing either the image behind it or leaving an open slot another image can easily be dropped into. It’s an old-school video post-production process commonly referred to as “greenscreen” that’s still used for weather broadcasts, in the film industry to create special effects, and even by photographers. Chicago Canvas & Supply’s traditional flame retardant green screen fabric comes in 9′ 10″ width to ensure that our customers will be able to achieve the effects they’ve planned for.
