Our flame retardant bleached white muslin is a smooth and tightly woven fabric that is primarily used to reflect light. Bleached white muslin has a flatter look and color than natural unbleached muslin, which sometimes can feature dark spots. Our white muslin comes in a variety of width options. Wider widths are ideal for sewing into backdrops and other theater uses.Theater Uses
Bleached white muslin is commonly used in the theater industry. It is ideal for cycloramas, back drops, scenery flats, or any surface that is used to reflect light. Although white muslin fabric can be painted, we recommend leaving the flame retardant version unpainted. Painting flame retardant muslin may cause recrystallizing of the flame retardant treatment.
